Oxfam Crouch End Clocktower

History

History

Oxfam opened their first shop in Broad Street, Oxford in 1948 and is now Britain’s largest second-hand book retailer and one of Britain’s largest second-hand music and video retailers.

In 2005 Oxfam arrived in Crouch End with a bright, modern specialist Books & Music shop. In 2007 we added our online shop and in 2008 Oxcom was launched here, Oxfam’s first specialist comic and contemporary collectables outlet in London.

In the last 5 years we have built up a large and loyal customer base attracted by the quality of our stock and the warm and friendly service they receive. Primarily we sell top-quality books, magazines, comics, LPs, CDs, DVDs and videos. In addition we also sell a selected range of jewellery and Fairtrade food products. Our online shop caters to a wider market for certain unusual, specialised or collectable items. New visitors are always welcome to both shops.
