The First Oxfam Shop to specialise Comics

Oxfam Crouch End is the HOME OF OXCOM - first Oxfam shop in London to specialise in SERIAL ART: comics, cartoons and animation. It all started when six boxes of comics were donated anonymously to the shop, and these books were sold for £250. This is how we realised that there was money to be made for the Oxfam cause !

Serious collectors or anyone who is interested in comics will be fascinated by the array of books that we have. There is everything from Marvel to Manga, Dandy to Dan Dare, A-Team to X-men, Asterix to Tintin.

On display is a life-size Incredible Hulk painted by pupils from Hornsey School Girls. Oxcom was launched with a visit from a full-size living Dalek which lives locally.
